Gladiators Gym is located just North of downtown Redwood City, in a spacious converted warehouse turned boxing gym. Our facility has 1 indoor boxing ring, over 15 heavy bags from straight to uppercut, 3 double end bags, indoor/outdoor open floor space for exercise, a strength training area, and various training equipment traditionally found in gymnasiums such as dumbbells, barbells, medicine balls, stability balls, jump ropes and other assorted fitness apparatus. We offer contact and non contact boxing skills/strength & cardio conditioning classes for youth and adults. Classes are on a drop in basis.

A class description is as follows; Start with light warm up exercises and flexibility training. Learn fundamental stance, footwork, and striking technique. Learn to shadowbox transferring skills to light and heavy bags for a super cardio and conditioning workout. Further sharpen skills and increase stamina with the use of punch mitt and punch shield workout routines. Introduction to various calisthenic and plyometric exercises followed by strength training with various gymnasium equipment from dumbbells to medicine balls to flex tubing.

Training for professional and amateur level competition is also provided at Gladiators Gym by coach Eloy Ramirez, a member coach of USA Boxing Inc. Many members of our gym have competed in the San Francisco Golden Gloves tournament each year as well as competed at local, regional, and national USA Boxing sanctioned events throughout the year. Here at the Gladiators gym we also feature an open gym for those who have or gain minimal experience using our facility and just want to come down to workout for their own personal benefit. Our goal is to provide the community, youth and adults alike, a quality program to better their over all physical condition in an effort to enhance mental and spiritual awareness and well being. From this we hope to produce better citizens
